Tessa (25) was born in Osijek where she began to discover the world of movement and dance from the age of five. Starting with sport and rhythmic gymnastics, in the following years she continues to express herself through Latin American and Standard dances. In 2006, she enrolled at the dance school where she’s practicing contemporary dance and ballet for the first time. During High School education, she works as a member of ballet ensemble in Croatian National Theatre where she participates in ballets, operas, theatre plays and modern dance performances.

In 2016, she turned a new leaf when she came to Zagreb to study contemporary dance at the Academy of Dramatic Art. Here, she acquires skills and knowledge about the body, improvisation, choreography, technique, somatics and anatomy from numerous artists such as Petra Hrascanec, Ana Mrak, Matej Kejzar, Magdalena Reiter, Guy Nader, Xavier Le Roy, Anja Bornsek, Maayan Danoch etc. During her study, she gains her first professional experience in choreographing a piece for a big group of dancers in Croatian National Theatre. After getting her BA degree, she remains active on a dance scene as a performer and choreographer. Now, she is focused on deepening her knowledge, participating in different projects, listening to her body, exploring the voice and enjoying new experiences.
